Services

In-home help for common technology problems.

Services are grouped by what you are trying to solve, not by technical jargon. Before confirming a repair, Bancroft Home Tech checks whether the correct parts are available and whether the requested work is suitable for safe service in your home.

What to Expect

You will know when a repair needs a specialist.

Bancroft Home Tech does not provide board level or electrical repair. Advanced drive recovery, certain phone repairs, and complex exterior installations are reviewed before booking and referred when specialist equipment or training is required.

  • Your device stays in your home during the visit.
  • You enter your own passwords when needed; they are never requested or stored.
  • You purchase parts specific to your device, including laptop screens, phone screens, and replacement devices, unless the written visit confirmation says Bancroft Home Tech will supply them.
  • SSDs, RAM, cables, and adapters supplied by Bancroft Home Tech include a warranty lasting 14 days for manufacturer defects.
  • Data recovery cannot be guaranteed. When the device allows it, a backup is made before migration or recovery work.
  • A second person is required when exterior or height work cannot be completed safely by one technician. The additional cost is approved before the appointment is confirmed.
